Celebrating Wins, Sharing Stories: The Heart Behind the Work
Great ideas come from great people. While the services we provide are central to what we do, the team and collaboration behind them are what make us stand out.

Our Worthington PR & Story team is composed of creative, passionate and driven professionals, and everyone brings a unique perspective to the table.
Paula Worthington founded Worthington PR & Story in 2018, with a single client and herself as the only employee. She shares, “It’s always been important for me to live by my values, so the WPRS culture started on day one, along with our core purpose of helping brands share their stories with the world.”

Since its inception, our WPRS team has grown to 10 employees, each playing a role in shaping and evolving the culture of the agency. With its growth and evolution as one of the city’s top PR and communications agencies, Worthington PR & Story stays true to the foundation of its values.
“Our culture has become so much more than I first imagined, and that’s thanks to the amazing contributions and creativity of our team members. Everyone truly cares about each other, the excellence of our work and how we treat our clients. Every day, we are committed to serving as trusted advisors, delivering high-quality, creative work, sharing our wins and supporting each other,” said Paula.
Inside the office, the energy is positive, collaborative and fun. While work is taken seriously, there is always time for fun and celebration. That balance is what helps the culture here thrive. From celebrating client wins and team member birthdays to midday strolls and potlucks, there is an excellent sense of community and culture right when you walk through the door.
“For our annual holiday baking challenge to monthly team bonding moments, we keep it fun, inclusive, supportive and a little bit competitive – we always want to show up as our best selves, nurturing growth and personal leadership development each step of the way,” said Paula.

Team bonding doesn’t just stay in the office. As part of our 2025 “100-Hour Campaign”, we are donating 100 hours of agency time to the community through blood donations, community clean-ups, non-profit support and more. We are well on our way to meeting and surpassing the goal this year, and plan to do even more for the community in 2026.
Whether it’s volunteering together, brainstorming over coffee, or attending key events, these moments help strengthen our team’s bond and level of trust, which translates directly into our work. Our positive connection fuels better communication and collaboration, ensuring we deliver the best results for our clients.

If you want to get a taste of our agency culture, the door is open anytime! Come by our office for a coffee or tea and see firsthand how collaborative culture can shape a great place to learn, excel and grow.
